The morning was cool, the air; crisp. Hundreds of avid paintballers gather in anticipation of the grand opening to Southern Ontario's most exciting paintball scenario game, Day of the Dead TEN. Somewhere over the hills, the Hero of the Day waits patiently with the Living General as the final preparations are made for the biggest entrance to any paintball game in history! Hundreds of players watch as the Hero of the Day is flown to the field by Helicopter and the final drop is made! It was nothing short of Epic! The Hero of the Day had landed and the game was underway! The Zombie Team were hungry for brains, and the win. The Living Team, coming off two back to back wins, felt strong under the leadership of Paul Gagne, the Living General, but it was Andrew McGill, General of the Undead Team, and his horde of Zombie Minions who emerged victorious! The day was gruelling, but the action was hot and relentless. The Living Team fought hard as they always do, but the Zombie Team moved as a unit, focusing their attacks, and inevitably took the win. We would like to thank everyone who joined us for this awesome event. Final numbers were in excess of 900 players and the energy was running high. Ten years in the making, Flagswipe Paintball's Day of the Dead has become Southern Ontario's largest paintball scenario game. A toxic chemical spill has given life to flesh hungry zombies in this epic battle for survival. Players must choose a side; fight for the survival of mankind as a righteous human mercenary, or join the horde of evil zombies, who’s terrifying presence strikes fear in even the most hardened combat veterans. This all day event takes place once a year and hosts as many as 1000 players, from seasoned snipers to novice gun-slingers, and even some beginners, out for their first paintball game ever!
