ESPL 2013 Event 1 - Itinerary and Player Info

ESPL 2013 Event 1 is Sunday April 28th at Flagswipe Outdoor Paintball

This event is at the OUTDOOR location
3998 Gladstone Dr Mossley On N0L 1V0
Use the website for the outdoor map, google doesnt work as well as our Map!

Please follow sign for "Flagswipe Special Event Parking" DO NOT park near the HQ trailer as we have a very busy Rental day at the Outdoor. The special event parking will allow you to park right beside the XBall fields. Plenty of room for parking and staging.

Remember that the FRP Card process has been changed and you are expected to have your card in hand prior to arriving or have processed your FRP form online. Players that are not prepared and do not have their cards or receipts will not be able to play. Please help us help you by taking the time to have this done BEFORE you arrive

YOUTH Division - Itinerary

7:00am Field Opens
7:15am AIR, Paint and Registration open
7:30am Captains Meeting
8:00am First game
Round Robin with top two Teams going to Playoff

Please be there as early as you need to be as we will start on time. Teams that are not ready will forfeit games.

ROOKIE Division - Itinerary

We expect the Youth Division will finish at approx 10:30am but arrive early just in case we are ahead of schedule. If we are ahead and all teams have arrived, we will start early.

5:30pm Prelims Finish

ESPL 1 Wrap Up

Well it was a fantastic day weather wise and Paintball wise as well. Our best start ever with record breaking attendance. I was very excited with our new and returning staff who worked a long day and got the job done perfectly - well as perfect as any referee in any sport !

The new NPPL field looked fantastic and played very well, lots of big bunkers for us old and slow guys although I didnt see too many of them out there

The Marb and All Star shot great and I didnt have a single complaint all day, air was always over 4k and the free fruit, water and Sour Keys were completely devoured by days end

I couldnt have asked for anything better. Thanks to my refs, our support staff, and especially you, the dedicated Paintball player who continue to support our series, I guess we must be doing something right as we are the longest and currently only consecutively running series in Ontario

Here are the final results. We had some camera issues so pictures may take a while and Ill warn you they arent up to our usual standards. However, we did get some video so look for that in a week or so

A Special Thanks to Everyone who Helped at DOTD 10

To all Staff, Sponsored Teams, Refs, Parkers, Cooks, Retail Guys, Servers and Admin people.
I wanted to take a minute and tell you all what an incredible job you did at this year’s DOTD. Without you; the hard working people involved in Flagswipe and all the crazy things we do, we would never have been able to successfully pull this event off.
We had some challenges throughout the day but we persevered and were able to fight through it and provide all our customers with a great product. The weather as usual did not fully cooperate and made for some pretty crappy conditions in the afternoon. I think we are due for a nice weekend next year.
Every DOTD gets bigger and better and that is a very encouraging sign, especially in this uncertain economy with people really deciding where to spend their dollars. This year saw an approx 15% increase in attendance and if the weather ever holds out for us I believe we will be busting at the seams. We did not hit our goal of 1000 players but we were close and there is always next year. I am very proud to say we run the second biggest Scenario game in Ontario, maybe even Canada.
So hell month is almost over and we can get back our normal day to day lives. As we know them anyways 

Flagswipe needs a Plumber !!

I am looking for someone for a small plumbing job at my house.

It entails installing two kitchen faucets and a complete bar sink hook up from trap to drain

Willing to trade Paintball stuff / credit in the store or even a year membership to the right person.

NOT looking for a high school student with a propane torch and plumbers putty as the job has to be done to the real boss's expectations haha

Xball Field vs mini Hurricane

Some of you played or reffed or even spectated this past weekend at the ESPL, held at our once awesome X Ball field.

Well, someone must not like me. We had a huge storm last night and now it looks like this.....



Sad day. 12 Poles have to be replaced

Please call the shop if you had Practise scheduled as it will be a week or more before we are up and running again
