Please post if you do!

Well, It really depends on how you want it to look and feel (ie. Do you want a spec ops type Assault rifle, a sustained fire gun, sniper rifle? Do you want it light or heavy?) Once you have the basic idea then you can flesh it out.

Universal "Must Have" Accessories: Remote line with shut off valve, 3 point sling, electronic Trigger set.

Spec ops Assault rifle Suggestions: Red/Green Dot, or reflex optics, Pistol grip, tactical rails

Sniper Suggestions: Scope (anything over 2x), after market barrel with apex tip, Bi-pod.

Sustained fire: high volume hopper, high volume feed system (cyclone or ilk), high volume air tanks

*Note: This is only personal opinion any better ideas i'll gladly hear them too.

Well, I'd be going with something like the Designated Marksman kit that the Project Salvo has the option for.

(Link ---> http://www.amazon.com/US-Army-Designated-M...569&sr=1-8)

Something like that anyways.

I'm getting a remote this weekend, but without a slide check sad.gif
3 point sling I'm looking for.

I do like your suggestions! Thank you very much.

This is what I have decided so far:

No E-Grip (Want pure Semi-auto for now)
16in Trinity Barrel w/tactical shroud
Possibly reddot sight.
Foregrip with pop-out bipod
Custom Ghillie design out of fabric (sown by sister tongue.gif ) for the marker

I want some more performance for the internals, so its not just show.

I've heard that Tippy's already come with fairly good internals . . but I'm not sure how accurate that really is tongue.gif

Tippmann internal upgrades don't offer as much improvement as some of the more peripheral things you can get. A cyclone system does wonders for reducing chops and miss-feeds, even with a mechanical gun. They also create a reduced profile and lower the weight of the hopper. It will bring the wieght closer to the center of gravity, giving you a more balanced and better feeling hold on the gun. You can also get the X7 lo-pro hopper to really drop the profile of your gun.

A must have for the M-16 style guns is the rail adapter that fits on the top of the sight/carry handle. They are inexpensive and allow you to mount any weaver style sight system onto your gun. AGC makes one that fits perfectly into the Alphas. Something like a Holographic sight would go perfect with that. Avoid anything with a strong magnification. It's too much of apain considering a paintball can only go 150 ft. or so. Look into an inclosed red dot, or other close range system.

Other than that, a nice mask, harness/vest, and good paint will make a huge improvement to your success on the field. No point in investing a couple hundred dollars in your gun when you can't see through the foggy mask to shoot anybody with it. A nice mask with a thermal lens makes a bigger difference than you'd think.

Yeah, I was considering a cyclone feed as well, so I'll be looking for something around here. I heard the BT Rip Clip was really good as well, but that might only make sense if I get the egrip anyways.

The ones that you drill into the top? I've seen some tutorials on how to install them, so I think I may pick one up, but I'm for sure getting the Picatinny Shroud.
lol! It sucks how paintball markers and paintballs work. I will be buying some First Strike to use every now and then, so I might go for something with a little magnification. Just a little though tongue.gif

V Force any good for masks?

Well, I have several pod packs, and I've even rigged up a dual HPA hold out of an old triangular back pack, can hold some tools as well.
Any recommendations on paint?

I have a case of Cryptic that came with the marker. Its not that bad for woodsball anyways (nice thick shell, somewhat thick fill, but doesn't stain any fabric that I've tested)

I'm looking for something that is cheap, but has some quality to it as well.

The cam on the barrel shroud is a good idea, i did something similar to my marker except i didn't shred the material, i just wrapped around it the whole marker. It made a few spots to put scrim into to help further camouflage the weapon, also i didn't have to sacrifice a pair of pants to do it. tongue.gif but you should line the Jean tank covers with jogging suit material, less noise, and if you use CO2, insulation.

Yeah, I thought the shredding looked better, and helped with the camo tongue.gif
Scrim? Not sure what that is sorry tongue.gif

Oh! I used two camo shirts that I bought from Talize for 11.28, so much cheaper then buying camo or ghillie at retail stores new.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking with the Jean tank cover as well. I'm going to wrap it on the outside, since I made the bottle cover to fit.

I'll just sow some more jean material to the protective covering.

Thanks for the suggestions/props biggrin.gif

Sorry Scrim is a military term for "Natural Camouflage" (in simpler terms [no offense] get a bunch of grass/leaves/bushes or what ever plant material is near by and jam it into your kit to help break up your outline). Another suggestion go to the dollar store and buy a couple of camo bandannas and shred them to add to the barrel. The different colours of material will further enhance the break up of the outline. OOOHHH! (sorry had a brain fart on this one) go to anywhere that roast's it's own coffee (ie Little red roaster, Hasbeans in covent garden market)and make an offer on the burlap bags those will probably be the biggest help for camo especially at day of the dead. hell get 6 bags, dye 2 darker brown and 2 dark green, get an old street hockey net and tie the burlap to where the strings cross and you have your own homemade ghille net for a fraction of the price.
